What is built, what is still on paper, and how to avoid paying for a road that has not broken ground.
Jaipur's southern Ring Road is open and has pulled development onto Ajmer Road and the Tonk Road side. The northern section, a 44 km corridor through 26 villages of Amer, Jaipur and Jamwa Ramgarh tehsils, is at the land-acquisition stage, not construction. Do not pay a premium for plots priced off the northern alignment yet.
| Southern section | Open |
|---|---|
| Northern section | ≈44 km, 26 villages; land acquisition stage |
| Planned design | 6-lane access-controlled road with service roads (70 m corridor) |
| Tehsils | Amer, Jaipur, Jamwa Ramgarh |
| Advice | Price plots on today's access, not the alignment |
The southern Ring Road is operating. It connects the Ajmer Road side round the south of the city toward Agra Road, and it is a big reason Ajmer Road and the Tonk Road side developed as they did.
The northern corridor would close the loop between the Agra highway and the Delhi highway. NHAI notified khasra numbers in 26 villages across Amer, Jaipur and Jamwa Ramgarh tehsils for a 44 km, 70 m wide transport corridor with a six-lane access-controlled expressway and service roads. Environmental clearance has been granted for a stretch from near Bagru on NH-48 to the end of the Jaipur–Bandikui Expressway. The JDA has proposed taking over the corridor from NHAI, a decision still pending at last report.
It is at land acquisition, not construction.

No. As of late 2026 it is at the land-acquisition stage. The southern Ring Road is open.
Check whether its khasra number appears in the acquisition notification, and ask the tehsil or JDA. A plot under acquisition may be taken for the road.
Send the plot number, colony and patta photo on WhatsApp. We'll tell you what's verified, what's missing and what to ask the seller.
