The southern Ring Road is open. The northern section, a 44 km, 70 m wide corridor through 26 villages of Amer, Jaipur and Jamwa Ramgarh tehsils, is at the land-acquisition stage. Plots priced on the northern alignment are priced on a road that has not broken ground.
NHAI notified khasra numbers in 26 villages across Amer, Jaipur and Jamwa Ramgarh tehsils for a 44 km corridor, 70 m wide, with a six-lane access-controlled expressway and service roads. Environmental clearance has been granted for a stretch starting near Bagru on NH-48 and running to the end point of the Jaipur–Bandikui Expressway. The JDA has proposed taking the corridor over from NHAI; that decision was pending at last report.
It is at land acquisition, not construction.
See the Ring Road corridor guide.
