The Rajasthan Land Revenue (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2025 (assent 3 October 2025) made RIICO the principal agency for industrial-area land, with powers over planning, development, conversion and disposal, and validated past RIICO decisions. It responds to uncertainty after a 2023 Supreme Court ruling about RIICO’s powers over certain older areas.
