Jaipur's value corridor to the west and south-west: townships, JDA plots, budget flats and, further out, the farmhouse belt toward Bagru.
Ajmer Road (NH-48) is Jaipur's main value corridor: plotted townships and JDA schemes close to the Ring Road, flats around ₹4,250 per sq ft, and a farmhouse belt further out toward Bagru and Bichoon. It suits buyers who want a lower entry price and land, but approval status varies widely between colonies.
| Character | Townships, JDA plots, budget flats, farmhouse belt |
|---|---|
| Flats | ≈ ₹4,250 per sq ft (Oct 2026 listings) |
| Plots | [₹ __ – __ per sq yd, Jaiprime index] |
| Connectivity | NH-48 to Ajmer; southern Ring Road junction |
| Watch for | Unconverted "farm plots"; townships without completion |
Ajmer Road runs west-south-west from the city along NH-48 toward Bagru, Kishangarh and Ajmer. Close to the city it is a dense mix of colonies and commercial frontage. Past the Ring Road junction it opens into large townships and JDA schemes, and beyond that into the farmhouse belt around Bagru and Bichoon, with the Aravalli hills on the horizon.
It is the corridor where most first-time land buyers start, because entry prices are among the lowest in Jaipur and supply is wide.
The southern Ring Road, already operating, is what pulled development onto Ajmer Road in the first place. The planned northern Ring Road section is expected to start near Bagru on NH-48, but it is at the land-acquisition stage: do not pay a premium today for a road that has not broken ground. See the Ring Road corridor guide.
Bagru further out on the same highway, Mansarovar and Vaishali Nagar toward the city, and Diggi–Malpura Road to the south.
